I have a few friends who enjoy watching Korean dramas and love stories. But, it is not only them who are crazy over Korean movies. I love Korean movies too. The latest of the Korean dramas is Dong Yi. The story is set during the reign of King Sukjong in the Joseon dynasty, in old Korea. The story focuses on Dong Yi, a water maid who later on becomes a concubine with the rank of sook-bin and bears a son who later became the 21st king of Joseon, Yeongjo. While she was a water maid, she gains the trust of Queen Inhyeon and later on, also gains the favour of the king when he was moved by her prayers for the health of the Queen during the court disputes caused by Jang Hee Bin.
I think I saw this when this was aired on television some years ago. But it is only now that I have gained interest because a friend of mine is crazily updating me at Facebook. So if you are like me, here is a link to the different episodes of Dong Yi.
